Currie's Just Peeking In

Currie used Crackerbox Palace Rubber stamps and a lunch bag!
She first cut our the lunch bag with Cricut cartridge George Basic shapes, then the frame.
She stamped the cat on white card stock and a lunch bag. Colored the cat with Copic markers. Cut out both cats.  Crunch up the lunch bag a bit.  Put the cat that was stamped on the white card stock behind the lunch bag 'peeking out'.  Prisma watercolor pencils were used to shade around the hole in the bag.  She added glossy accents for the eye which really adds a great touch.

BBQ Fun

Crackerbox Palace has some new summer stamps and Currie made this card from some of them.
She stamped the hamburger, ketchup and mustard on some great white card stock then colored them with Copic markers and cut them out.
The background white shape was made with Cricut cartridge "Just Because Cards" and then she cut it in half.  She stamped the table cloth, or picnic blanket, on the cut out piece.
The red background piece that looks like a table cloth is a piece of red card stock that she ran through the Cuttlebug and colored some squares white with Inksentials Opaque pen and marked the others with a black pen.
The inside of the card is just as cute so I had to show you that too.

Happy Father's Day Jeep

Currie used the Cricut (George and Basic Shapes) to cut the card stock for the image.  She stamped the jeep and colored it with Copic Markers.  The background paper is  made by stamping the tire and sparkplug.  She used a chrome pen and brads as embellishments.
All stamps are from Crackerbox Palace Stamps.

Dad with Sail Boat

Currie first stamped the image and used Copic markers to color. Mat image with coordinating color.  She distressed the edges with a paper scrapper and added brads to the boat.
This card is great for a Father's Day, birthday or any other card for a male.

Happy Father's Day King of the Grill

We have some new stamps for a fun BBQ summer at the Crackerbox Palace and I made this card from a couple of them.  We have a few sayings that you can use for the apron.  The one I used for the apron I also used with VersaMark for the back ground. The BBQ utinsiles were stamped and cut out to put in the pockets. I used Copic markers to color the hot dog and pop dots for behind the hotdog.

Give a Man a Fish

Currie really did a great job on this one, like usual, but this one I saved to post closer to Father's Day.

She put so much interest in this card. The brads in the corner symbolize bubbles, at least to me they do. The inside is just as interesting when you open the card PLUS there is an extra bonus saying in a pocket that is sewn on the back. There is so much to this card I had to give you a few pictures of it.

Currie said she loved pairing these stamps.  She stamped on white and blue cardstock. Cut out man and shark from white, just the water is left on the blue.  She colored with Copic markers and used an edge scrapper, various brands of eyelets, juste for fishing line, blue ink pad ofr distressed water and paper crimper from Fiskers and rounded the corners with a punch.

On the inside she stamped tahe images and colored all with Copic markers, even the water.  I "broke" the fishing pole by masking off and stamping it twice.  The beer can is actually the vitamin C bottle stamp.
She sewed a pocket on the back for saying and hooked it with more jute.  If you look at the first picture you can see it peeking up from the back.
The saying in the pocket it attached to the card.
I hope you enjoyed Currie's card, we do here at the Crackerbox Palace and maybe you got some Father's Day ideas. Thanks for looking.

Whale of a Good Time

It's been a whale of a long time since I have posted something.  We have been busy with some new stamps that will show up on the web site by Thursday, 10th.
We got to visit Currie and her family and had a whale of a good time so I thought I would post this card she made.
She used Crackerbox Palace rubber stamps and Cricut cartridge, Just Because for the card shape. The wavy edge came from the Fiskars wavy edge paper timmer and colored in with Copic markers and Glaze pens.
I thought this was such a great idea that I wanted you to see.

This inside looks like this: even the inside of the card is as interesting as the outside, it would make someone real feel special!
